Campus programs and trainings offered through Student Health and Wellness include Campus Advocacy Resources and Education (CARE) program for interpersonal violence, Aspiring Allies programs, Stigma Reduction education and the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug (ATOD) program.
Swoop In Bystander Intervention Program is a UT System initiative that provides training and resources to students, faculty and staff in order to provide the campus community with the tools and motivation to create a culture of care.
UT Tyler students have opportunities to gain practical experience in health promotion through peer education and internships. Students can apply for internships, join the Swoop In advisory panel, and/or assist with Student Health and Wellness programs and events.
Student Health and Wellness also offers Student Health 101, an online health and wellness magazine for students and the university community.
